Doi Tung Palace

  Doi Tung Palace or Somdet Ya Palace is a palace built on a hill surrounded by various trees. It was built by the idea of ​​Her Majesty Queen Srinagarindra, the Princess Mother, who donated her own money to build it so that she could move her royal residence to work here. The palace is unique in its architecture, which is a Lanna style wooden house with a gallery, mixed with the traditional Swiss style of a chalet. The wood is carved in a soft cloud pattern, emphasizing simplicity but being fully functional. It is currently open as a museum for tourists to visit inside. It displays various belongings of Her Majesty the Queen.
